Item Overview

Faesthetic is a black and white art and design magazine. Faesthetic means “the fast aesthetic” and refers to the current trend in our pop culture to mesh different styles and genres… similar to commercials flashing in front of your eyes.. styles mesh into one.
Started in 2001 it began as a simple Xeroxed zine with a small list of contributors by Dustin Amery Hostetler.
Featuring Graffiti writers, illustrators and artists it bridges the gap between styles. Black and white is the common bond. Issue 3 features over 80 artists including Cody Hudson, GIANT, Andy Mueller, Typevsm, DALEK, tiffany bozic, James Patterson, Prate Computer Channel™, Thirst Type and many many more.
Issue #3 also comes with a full color poster and a tank top.
The newest Faesthetic project is the Anti war / Anti Bush regime “Make art not war” poster series which is affordably priced to encourage collection AND dissemination, and features work by well know and up and coming artists. These posters are made in collaboration with Clamor Magazine (www.clamormagazine.org).
