Overview
Ben Loiz was asked to create a mural representing team Brasil for NIKE's Joga Bonito project in Los Angeles, April 2006. The mural was made by covering soccer balls with paint in Brasil's country colors and then kicking and throwing them at the wall to make a larger circular form. Since team is such an important part of the game, Ben asked friends to come out and play which made the end result a community effort. NIKE shot a time lapse video of the project which premiered at their Los Angeles event house in April. Ben's studio also shot their our own footage of the process which can be viewed by clicking the link to the left.
