Armchair Modern's Flight Through the Galaxy

hitchhikers2.gif

It started as a logo for Armchair Media, extended into a typeface named Armchair Modern and now it's shooting through orbit for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie.

Syrup

Dear Syrup. I know you've moved on and looks like you're happy and doing well, but you're not using Reykjavik for your copy anymore. I just want you to know that I will always love you and even without my font - we can still be friends and everything... Yours truly... Stefan.

MIKE GIANT

Mike Giant finally has a proper website. After being linked for years on Art Crimes, and having his work up at Skullz Press, he has launched a site covering all aspects of his art. MIKEGIANT.COM Graff, tattoos, mad illustrations and now his long anticipated book. Make sure you check him out, and if you are ever in need of fresh ink, Mike is the man to talk to.

Gerard Unger

Is great design nature or nurture in the Netherlands? At best Dutch design is breathtaking - at worst interesting, but always original and authentic. Type designer Gerard Unger has a website with an inspiring typeface portfolio, spanning back to 1972 with Markeur.

Building Letters

buildingletters.jpg

Building Letters brings together designers from around the world to raise funds for charity projects. We do this through the publication of Building Letters magazine which is produced by designers for designers.

Over the past year some of the biggest names in the world of graphic design have offered their time, help and encouragement.

This project has an amazing concept behind it. We're very inspired and hope they get the support it deserves. Have a gander at all the fonts that are included with the magazine.

Building Letters

Well done.

Antoine et Manuel liquify the grid

Some interesting work from the French Antoine et Manuel. Stylistically, it's somewhere between Wolfgang Weingart and Salvador Dali. Check it!
